U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is expected to visit Morocco this week during her North African tour, local media reported.
During the four-day tour starting from Thursday, the U.S. top diplomat is scheduled to visit Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, Moroccan News Agency reported Tuesday.
She will discuss bilateral ties and regional issues with leaders of those countries.
According to U.S. State Department, Rice will visit Libya on Thursday, the first of its kind by the top U.S. diplomat since 1953.
