A major multinational military air exercise dubbed Anatolian Eagle 2008/3, will take place at an air base in central Turkey next week, the Turkish Air Forces announced on Friday.

The exercise will be held from Sept. 8-9 at the 3rd Main Jet Base in the central province of Konya, the Turkish Air Forces said in a statement posted on its website.

Fighters from Turkey, the United States, Italy, Israel and the NATO will participate in the exercise, the statement said.
