The Czech Constitutional Court ruled in Brno Wednesday that the Lisbon treaty is in line with the Czech constitution, removing an obstacle to vote and ratification by the parliament.
Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek on Wednesday welcomed the court rule. Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg also said the rule of the Czech Constitutional Court is a good news to both the eastern European country and whole Europe.
