Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and his visiting Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday signed an agreement on human border traffic and on the financing of education of Ukrainian citizens at the College of Europe in Natolin.

Addressing a briefing following his talks with Poroshenko, Sikorski said that the signing of the two agreements is successive proof of Polish-Ukrainian strategic partnership.

He assured that Poland will invariably support Ukraine's European aspirations and broadest liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and the European Union.

Sikorski also announced the setting up of a Polish-Ukrainian forum to gather, among others, both countries' historians and intellectuals and added that both ministries have established "a unique formula of meetings of senior representatives" of the two ministries.

Minister Poroshenko stressed that his country appreciates the strategic character of relations with Poland and thanked for professional support of Ukraine's European aspirations.

Referring to the Eastern Partnership project, Sikorski said that during the next several weeks the European Commission is expected to publish a list of programs to be included in the project. He added that EU countries will also organize additional programs for Ukraine.
