Cypriot President Demetris Christofias was released from hospital on Tuesday night, a few hours after feeling unwell.
A hospital spokesman said Christofias, aged 64, is quite well and there is no reason for concern.
He went to the hospital in the afternoon on his physician's advice, after feeling indisposed.
The hospital spokesman said tests conducted were negative and there was no reason for him to be hospitalized any further.
He added that the president's indisposition might have been caused by fatigue due to his exhaustive program on Monday, which included a meeting with visiting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and three-way talks with the UN chief and Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat.
His doctors have advised him to go easy tomorrow.
