Two Swedish soldiers killed, one injured in Afghanistan

Two Swedish soldiers were killed and another one was injured when their unit came under fire in Afghanistan, according to the Swedish Armed Forces on Sunday.
The Swedish soldiers were attacked when they patrolled west of Mazar- e-Sharif, where Swedish troops in Afghanistan are stationed, the Swedish Armed Forces said in a statement.
A captain and a lieutenant were killed. A local interpreter were also killed in the attack, said the statement.
The injured soldier in the incident were taken to a field hospital located at Camp Marmal, home of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Regional Command for the north of Afghanistan, the statement added.
Last year, Sweden announced that its troops in Afghanistan would stay until the end of 2010.
