The six bodies were found inside the Pathumwanaram Temple, which was a shelter for elderly, children, and women during security operations to end the Rajprasong rally site.
The security forces, who were deployed to besiege the main rally site, had never used forces to deal with the innocent people, General Anupong said.
The six victims found inside the temple, which is located next to the Rajprasong rally site, were a female nurse and five men, including a rescue worker.
The anti-government protestors had staged the rallies in central Bangkok since March 12 and dispersed on May 19, causing huge losses and damage to the country.
