A senior official of Russian gas monopoly Gazprom was found dead late Saturday in western Moscow, the RIA Novosti news agency reported Sunday citing police source.
Sergei Klyuka, deputy head of Gazprom's finance department, was found in his car and shot dead with a single bullet wound to the head.
Investigators said it was possible that Klyuka had committed suicide, as a Czech-made CZ-75 automatic pistol was found in his garage.
Klyuka's wife called police, after the 36-year-old man missed his appointment to meet a relative at a railway station early Saturday while ignoring any phone calls, said the report.
