Vietnamese plane makes emergency landing on bomb message www.chinaview.cn 2007-11-05 13:38:42 Print HANOI, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- A plane of Vietnam Airlines, the country's national flag carrier, made an emergency landing in southern Ho Chi Minh City Sunday on a bomb alert, local newspaper Pioneer reported Monday.
Five minutes after the plane with over 100 passengers on board taking off at the International Tan Son Nhat Airport to fly to Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur on Sunday morning, the flight's chief stewardess received a message from her cell phone which said that the plane had a bomb on it.
The plane has been checked, but no bombs were found. On Sunday afternoon, all passengers continued their trip in another plane of the airlines.
