Israel targets Hamas bases in S Gaza, civilian wounded |

A Palestinian old man was moderately wounded when Israeli gunboats opened fire at a position for Hamas naval police in southern Gaza Strip Tuesday noon, security source said.
The shelling caused severe damage to the site which is one of several others alongside the coast in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
The gunboats approached the land following the bombardment and Palestinian Hamas militants exchanged fire with the Israeli marine forces.
Meanwhile, Israeli aircrafts attacked a training site for Hamas' armed wing in southern Gaza town of Khan Younis. No casualties were reported in the raid which destroyed some facilities of the camp.
Hamas movement has been ruling the Gaza Strip since it routed Fatah movement and security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas in mid June.
