A U.S. soldier died and another injured when their vehicle rolled over during operation in northern Iraq, the U.S. military said on Wednesday.
The soldier died of wounds sustained by the accident, which took place on Tuesday in Kirkuk, some 250 km north of Baghdad, a military statement said.
It said the incident was non-combat related and is under investigation.
The latest deaths brought the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq to about 3,930 since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, according to media count based on Pentagon figures.
