Ezz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Sunday that any military escalation by Israel will deteriorate the situation "and turn the balance over."

"If the occupation did not understand our previous messages, this doesn't mean that our options are over," said Abu Obaida, spokesman for the Brigades.

He was commenting on the killing of four Palestinian militants, one from Hamas and three from the Islamic Jihad (Holy War), in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza Strip on Saturday.

"Al-Qassam Brigades don't beg quietness and it will be impossible if it comes under the swords of the aggression," Abu Obaida added.

Also on Sunday, Palestinian militant groups, including the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), said their militants launched several homemade rockets from northern Gaza Strip at southern Israeli towns, causing no casualties.

"The two attacks are response to the killing of four militants in Gaza on Saturday and killing five Palestinians in the West Bank on Wednesday," said one of the PRC leaflets.

Israeli Radio reported that three homemade rockets hit southern Israel, adding that the rockets exploded causing no damages or casualties.
