Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Monday they are determined to revenge for Moughniyah, one of Hezbollah senior commander who was assassinated in February in Syrian capital city of Damascus.
Nasrallah's speech was delivered at Imad Moughniyah's memorial rally in southern suburbs of Beirut.
He said that whoever killed Moughniyah should be punished and "we would set the time, place, and method of the punishment."
Moughniyah, who died at 45, known as Hajj Radwan, was assassinated by a car bomb on Feb. 12 in Damascus. He commanded Hezbollah's guerrilla forces during the 34-day war with Israel in 2006. Hezbollah accused Israel of carrying out the assassination.
Moughniyah had been in hiding for years since he was indicted in the United States for the 1985 hijacking of a TWA airliner in which a Navy diver died.
"The Israelis would discover during any confrontation what a stupid act they did by killing Moughniyah," he said, adding that the Israelis are worried about retaliation for the assassination, and "should stay worried."
Nasrallah promised that Israel is heading to more defeats: "The Israeli army does not dare launch an overland attack" because they were "smashed" in July 2006, he said.
Wondering if it is possible that Israel would cease to exist, Nasrallah said "Yes, and one thousand times yes."
Nasrallah said it is not simple option for the United States to attack Iran, or for Israel to attack Syria.
He also warned the Europeans against a trap they are being led to, saying there are "Zionist-American" groups working to provoke conflict between the Muslims and Europe.
