The UN probe into the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri reported on Friday a network of individuals acted in concert to carry out the assassination.

In its latest report, the UN International Independent Investigation Commission (UNIIIC) said this criminal network, or parts thereof, are linked to some of the other cases within the commission's mandate.

This report is the tenth provided by the commission, and the first report of Commissioner D. A. Bellemare who took office on January 1, 2008.

According to the report, the priority of the commission is now to determine the scope of the network and the identity of its participants.
