Visiting U.S. president George W. Bush on Sunday said that Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

Bush made the remarks in a special address to the inaugural session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East in the Egyptian Red Sea resort Sharm el-Sheikh on Sunday.

He called for efforts from the Islamic world to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, adding that, otherwise, it would be an unforgivable betrayal of future generations.
