Qassam rockets made direct hit Thursday on a factory in Kibbutz Nir Oz near the border with the Gaza Strip, killing one person.
Three people were moderately wounded and one were lightly wounded, a spokeswoman of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told Xinhua.
Magen David Adom paramedics were making their way to the scene to treat the wounded.
Hamas' Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades have claimed responsibility for the Qassam fire, saying "the attack is a response to the daily Israeli army crimes committed against the Palestinian people."
Spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister's Office David Baker blamed Hamas for the attack and said it would be held accountable for salvos into southern Israel.
"Israel cannot and will not allow the situation to continue," Baker said.
Since Hamas seized control of Gaza a year ago, Palestinian militants have fired rockets into Israel almost daily. Israel frequently responds with air strikes and ground incursions into Gaza.
On Tuesday, five people, including two foreign workers, sustained shrapnel injuries during a rocket attack on an Eshkol Regional Council community. The IDF later hit a Palestinian terrorist as he was attempting to fire another Qassam toward the western Negev region.
On Wednesday, a rocket fired into the Nahal Oz fuel terminal, wounding a Palestinian worker there and prompting the IDF to cease transferring industrial fuel, cooking gas and diesel to the territory.
On Thursday, the Israeli army arrested 13 Palestinians all over the West Bank and the troops backed by tanks and attack helicopters stormed a village in southeast of the Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported yet.
