Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will be questioned for the fifth time over allegations of corruption.

Investigators of the police's National Fraud Unit have arrived at Olmert's official residence in Jerusalem.

The two most prominent investigations involve suspicions that Olmert took bribes from American businessman Morris Talansky, and charges he submitted duplicate claims for travel expenses which he allegedly used to fund family trips abroad.

In light of the probe, the prime minister announced last month that he would step down after his ruling Kadima party selects a new leader in September.
