Israeli naval gunships opened fire on Sunday at fishing boats near Rafah shores in southern Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported, Hamas security sources said.
The sources said Israeli naval gunships opened fire at the fishing boats, violating an Egyptian-brokered six-month truce with Gaza militant groups.
According to the truce agreement, Gaza militant groups refrain from launching homemade rockets at Israel, while Israel eases restrictions on Gaza commercial crossing points.
Islamic Jihad (Holy War), a main Gaza armed group, said in an official statement that Israel has violated the truce more than 20times since it came into effect on June 19.
Meanwhile, Israel Radio's Arabic service reported Sunday that militants in Gaza fired a homemade rocket at the Negev town of Sderout in southern Israel, but no damages or injuries were reported.
Israel also said on Saturday that unknown militants from Gaza fired two makeshift rockets at southern Israel, causing severe damages to greenhouses in one of southern Israeli towns.
No one claimed responsibility for the two attacks. The Israeli army threatened to close Gaza commercial crossing points if militants continue launching homemade rockets from Gaza at southern Israel.
