Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will undergo a sixth interrogation by National Fraud Unit investigators this Friday, local daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported Tuesday on its website.
The interrogation, which will take place Friday morning at Olmert's official residence in Jerusalem, is scheduled to take about two hours, said the report.
On August 8th, Olmert was questioned for the fifth time over allegations of corruption since the bribery scandal went public in May.
The two most prominent investigations involve suspicions that Olmert took bribes from Jewish American businessman Morris Talansky, and charges that he submitted duplicate claims for travel expenses which he allegedly used to fund family trips abroad.
In light of the probe, the prime minister announced in July that he would step down after his ruling Kadima party selects a new leader in September. Source: Xinhua
