A Lebanese TV channel reported Thursday that gunfire attacked a Lebanese army helicopter while it flew over a village in south Lebanon.
The incident took place at a village in Telal Sejoud area in south Lebanon, which lies some 20 kilometers north of the Israeli border, LBC television reported.
There were casualties among the crew when the helicopter hit by the gunfire and made a forced landing, a Lebanese security source said.
The Lebanese army has been targeted recently. The latest incident was a bus bombing attack earlier this month in the northern city of Tripoli, leaving some 18 soldiers and civilians killed.
