Seven people were killed in a helicopter crash in the Dubai coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), local civil aviation authority said on Thursday.
In a statement, the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority said Thursday that the crash, occurred in Gulf waters off the coast of Dubai on Wednesday, killed all seven people on board, including an American, a Briton, a Pakistani, a Filipino, a Venezuelan and two Indians.
The incident took place as the helicopter was traveling from Dubai's main international airport to an offshore oil field in the Gulf.
The civil aviation authority has set up a special team to find out the cause of the crash, according to the statement.
