Sunni majority leader MP Saad Hariri declared after meeting Shiite parliament Speaker Nabih Berri Thursday that agreement has been reached to remove seditious political posters and banners in three days from Beirut, local LBCTV reported.

Hariri was quoted as saying that he discussed with Speaker Berri the implementation of the security chapter in Doha Accord, which bans Lebanese rival groups from using violence for political reasons.

Posters and banners from both sides have been triggering sporadic clashes between Sunni pro-government and Shiite opposition supporters around the country.

A Shiite Hezbollah delegation also met with Hariri at the latter's residence on Wednesday, in an effort to end the four-month feud that was sparked on May 7, when Hezbollah cracked down on Sunni areas of west Beirut.

The clashes left over 70 people killed and was ended by a Qatari-brokered agreement signed in Doha on May 21, which also led to the election of President Michel Suleiman and the formation of a national unity government.
