The success of national Palestinian dialogue is subject to Egypt taking of Hamas reservations into consideration, the Islamic movement said on Wednesday.
The deposed Hamas government of Ismail Haneya, which controls the Gaza Strip, made the remarks as Egypt has drafted the agenda of the inter-Palestinian dialogue due to open next month in Cairo to broker reconciliation between Hamas and its rival Fatah movement under Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Hamas has raised several reservations and Cairo decided not to consider Hamas' worries in a bid to satisfy all the Palestinian factions that would participate in the dialogue on Nov. 9.
The Islamic movement argued that the reservations "were also raised by more than one effective Palestinian factions inside and outside Palestine," referring to factions that are aligned with Hamas.
Earlier, President Abbas said that Hamas wants to expand the crisis to include other factions represented in the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
The Egyptian plan envisions the formation of a new unity government replacing the deposed Haneya government and the West Bank-based caretaker government which was appointed by Abbas.
It also calls for reforming the Palestinian security services and holding early elections to reinforce the reconciliation.
Last year, Hamas routed pro-Abbas forces and took over the Gaza Strip by force, effectively separating it from the West Bank where Abbas consolidated his rule.
