Six Iraqis were killed and 20 others injured when two roadside bombs exploded coordinately outside a police headquarters in central Baghdad on Monday, an Interior Ministry source said.
The incident occurred in the morning when the bombs exploded in a quick succession near the headquarters in the Tahariyat Square in Karrada district," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

The blasts also damaged several nearby shops and civilian cars, the source added.
Iraqi security forces cordoned off the area to secure the scene while ambulances evacuated the wounded to nearby hospitals, he added.
Violence has dropped to a four-year low in Iraq, while sporadic roadside bombs, car bombings and suicide attacks are still haunting the Iraqis.
