Israeli police investigators questioned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Friday for the ninth time in connection with a series of corruption probes, local daily Ha'aretz reported on its website.
Police investigators arrived at around 10 a.m. (0800 GMT) Friday morning at Olmert's official residence in Jerusalem to conduct the questioning.
The outgoing prime minister is under suspicion in a string of cases, including questionable real estate deals and alleged cash transfers. The allegations involve events that took place before he became prime minister in 2006.
Olmert denies any wrongdoing, but the suspicions had forced him to announce his resignation in September. After that, he became a caretaker premier.
Olmert will remain in power as caretaker prime minister until a successor is chosen in February parliamentary elections.
