Turkish security forces arrested 36 illegal migrants in northwestern Turkey on Saturday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
During a routine traffic control on Bursa-Izmir highway, the police stopped a truck carrying illegal migrants of Afghan and Palestinian origin in Karacabey town of the northwestern province of Bursa, said the report.
The migrants and driver were detained and the captured migrants would be deported following legal proceedings, it added.
