Shiekh Neem Qassem, Lebanon's Shiite group Hezbollah's second in command, on Friday accused of the UN Security Council (UNSC) of taking part in the siege of Gaza,its Al-Manar TV reported.
Qassem made the accusation in a speech to thousands of Hezbollah supporters gathered in Beirut's southern suburbs in protest against Israeli siege of Gaza.
While shouting "death to America," Qassem called on the Palestinians to unify their ranks.
"The solution to the Palestinian case can only be achieved through armed resistance, not only in Palestine, but through out the region," he stressed.
Hezbollah Chief Hasan Nasrallh called on Monday for open demonstrations in Lebanon until the siege of Gaza is lifted.
The Hezbollah-organized popular march started in the morning as streets were cordoned off and protesters, waving Palestinian and Hezbollah flags, chanted "Death to Israel" and "death to America."
Similar demonstrations were also held Friday in south and north Lebanon cities and in the Bekaa Valley. Source: Xinhua
