Israeli F16 warplanes resumed on Sunday night another round of airstrikes on security and police installations belonging to Hamas movement as well as other targets, including cars and buildings.

Palestinian witnesses said that the fresh airstrike was carried out on Sunday night at the two-store police station in the Beach refugee camp west of Gaza City, adding that the whole building collapsed.

Hamas security sources confirmed that the Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intensive airstrikes on Sunday night, and several buildings were targeted and several people were either killed or injured.

Most of the security installations and headquarters targeted on Saturday and Sunday are security buildings seized by Hamas movement from President Mahmoud Abbas' security forces in mid-summer last year.

Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the Palestinian Health Ministry, told reporters that four Palestinians were killed and 12 wounded in the last fresh Israeli airstrikes on central and northern Gaza.

He added that about 300 Palestinians were killed and more than 900 wounded, 180 of them in critical conditions, since the beginning of the intensive Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.

According to Hamas security sources, Israel has carried out more than 50 airstrikes through Sunday, leaving several security buildings, including Gaza central prison destroyed.

Fatah movement of President Abbas has said in a statement that 24 Fatah members imprisoned by Hamas security forces in Gaza central prison were also killed after Israeli warplanes struck Gaza central prison.

"In spite of Fatah appeals to Hamas to free our members from its jails in Gaza, Hamas refused to respond to our request and insisted to keep our members in jail to face death alone," Fatah said in the statement sent to reporters.

Meanwhile, al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas movement's armed wing, said in separate leaflets that its militants launched several Russian-made Grad rockets from Gaza at southern Israeli cities and towns.

Israel said that several rockets hit the outskirts of the Israeli costal town of Ashkelon, adding that the rockets did not cause any damages or injuries. Israeli war jets had immediately responded and struck Hamas targets.
