205 kg heroin seized in eastern Turkey |

A total of 205 kg heroin was seized in eastern Turkey on Tuesday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
Turkish anti-drugs teams stopped two trucks at a border gate in Agri province from neighboring Iran and found the heroin in secret parts of the trucks, said the report.
It said two Macedonian drivers of the trucks were detained, adding that investigation into the incident is underway.
Turkey is a key transit route for smuggling drugs from Asia and the Middle East to markets in Western Europe. Source:Xinhua
