Al-Qassam Brigades, Islamic Hamas movement's armed wing, vowed on Monday to continue confronting the Israeli army forces that has been carrying out a ground operation on Gaza since Dec. 27.

The group said in a statement that it still has more new military tactics, adding that "the Palestinian resistance hasn't yet used all what it has against the enemy," adding "there will be lots of surprises."

"We have lots of surprises, but we still use certain military tactics according to the nature of the battle with the enemy," said al-Qassam statement, adding "ten days after the furious aggression, resistance still surprises the occupation."

The Israeli army has been carrying out a wide-scale air and ground military operations into the Gaza Strip for ten days, leaving dozens of families homeless and over than 530 people killed and 2,600 wounded.

However, Gaza militant groups continue launching homemade rockets at southern Israeli towns and communities, while at the same time they were confronting the invading Israeli army group forces.

"The armed Palestinian resistance still surprises the occupation by using other new kinds of weapons and arms," said the group. "We still haven't fired rockets deep into the enemy's territories."

For the first time, Hamas had fired long-range rockets with 40 kilometers range. It hit towns into Israel like Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva and Nitivot. Most of the rockets Hamas uses are Grad Russian-made rockets.

The group said in the leaflet "the occupation is still unable to stop rockets firing at its towns and communities, mainly the far ones in central Israel, in spite of the intensive airstrikes and tanks shelling of the Gaza Strip area."

The Hamas armed wing confirmed that its militants used for the first time B29 anti-tanks missiles, as well as another new kind of missiles called Tandem against the Israeli army tanks that entered into several areas in northern Gaza.

"The Palestinian factions of resistance have new military plans and tactics, and they don't use all of it at once. We have 30 surprises, and we have only used one of them," said the group, in reference to the B29 missiles.

The group refused to reveal what other kinds of weapons it still hasn't used against the Israeli army forces.
