A mother and four children were killed on Monday night in an Israeli airstrike by missiles carried out on a house in Sheja'eya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, witnesses and medics said.
Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the Palestinian health ministry said that a mother and four of her children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their house in eastern Gaza.
He added that the deaths of the five is rising the number of Palestinians killed during Monday to 29 with more than 100 wounded.
Hassanein also said that the death toll since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has hit to 537 killed and 2600 wounded, 800 of them are in critical conditions.
The Israeli army forces continued on Monday the military operations into the Gaza Strip for the tenth consecutive day, killing on Monday 29 people, most of them were civilians, according to Gaza medics.
Four Palestinian civilians were killed and 40 wounded in a most recent Israeli tanks shelling on a house in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, medics and witnesses said.
The witnesses said that the tank's shells on the town hit the wake of a Palestinian paramedic, who was killed during his duty on Sunday's airstrikes on Gaza City. Dozens of people were into the wake's tent when it was shelled.
Meanwhile, Haitham Dababish, chief of emergency room at Shifa Hospital in Gaza city said that seven Palestinians, belong to the same family of Abu Aeisha, were killed earlier on Monday.
He added that the seven were killed after Israeli naval gunship shelled their house in the beach refugee camp in western Gaza City, adding that the father, the mother and five of their children were killed.
Medical sources said that 13 Palestinian civilians also belong to the same family of al-Samouni, were also killed on Monday during the tanks shelling on their house in Zeitoon neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
Dababish said that all the people killed and injured on Monday are civilians, adding that they were targeted by the sells of the Israeli army tanks and naval gunship.
Residents in the town of Zeitoon said that the Israeli army ground forces, stations south of Gaza City, carried out an incursion into their overpopulated neighborhood of Gaza City, amid intensive gunfire and tanks shelling.
Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the Palestinian health ministry called on the International Committee of the Red Cross to interfere in order to let Palestinian ambulances and rescue teams able to reach the targeted areas and take casualties to hospitals.
