A spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas armed wing, said on Tuesday that his group has dozens of human bombers ready to blow themselves up against the Israeli ground forces.
Abu Obeida, the group's spokesman, said in statements sent to reporters that one of the group's members blew himself up under an Israeli army tank, and has completely destroyed it on Monday night.
"The fighters prepared a trap for the invading Zionist forces northwest of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza Strip, and then they clashed with the soldiers until they went into one of the houses," said Abu Obeida.
He added "While the soldiers were busy in the exchange of fire, one of our bombers went up on a tank and went inside and blew himself up, killing the soldiers in the tanks."
Meanwhile, Israeli Radio had earlier reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian who was carrying explosives belt, when it was exploded and one Israeli soldier was injured.
Abu Obeida said, "There are hundreds of bombers who are ready to blow themselves up in case the invading Zionist forces enter into Gaza City's neighborhoods."
"There are dozens of Zionists soldiers were killed and wounded, but the Zionist army hides information about its losses and doesn't reveal it to the Zionist people or media," said Abu Obeida.
