Ten Palestinians injured in the ongoing Israeli attacks were brought to Turkey early Tuesday for treatment, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
The 10 Palestinians and their accompanying relatives were brought to Ankara's Esenboga International Airport by an ambulance plane which took off on Monday from Egypt, said the report.
These injured Palestinians, who were brought to Turkey under the coordination of Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency (TIKA), were then taken to Bilkent Ataturk Research Hospital for treatment.
Turkey has been exerting efforts for the termination of the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), as well as for the orderly delivery of the humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, said the report.
Turkish officials have held talks with all parties concerned for the immediate declaration of a cease-fire in order to provide a permanent peace in the region, it added.
Over 900 Palestinians in the impoverished Gaza Strip have been killed and more than 4,100 others wounded since the launch of the Israeli raid on Dec. 27 of 2008.
