The international Quartet envoy Toni Blair arrived suddenly on Monday morning in the Gaza Strip, ruled by the Islamic Resistance Movement, or Hamas, well-informed sources told Xinhua.

The sources said that Blair's convoy of cars entered into the Gaza Strip through Erez-border crossing between northern tip of Gaza Strip and Israel. Blair was received by a senior delegation of United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

Blair will held talks on Monday with Gaza businessmen and Palestinian figures representing Gaza societies, according to the sources.
