Turkey Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack which took place in Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Tuesday, an official statement said.

The statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, "the terrorist attack, which used large amounts of explosive, caused deep sorrow in Turkey."

Turkey is ready to send ambulance planes upon request for the treatment of Iraqi citizens who were wounded on Tuesday, the statement said.

Turkey will continue to do everything so that tolerance and search for compromise in Iraq will be strengthened, added the statement.
