A Hummer of Iraqi military force patrols at a check point in Baghdad, capital of Iraq, July 1, 2009, the first day after U.S. combat troops withdrawing from major cities in Iraq. As part of a security pact signed between Baghdad and Washington last year, U.S. troops withdrew from Iraq's cities, towns and villages by June 30, 2009 back to their bases, and will leave the country by Dec. 31, 2011.
