Gaza militants fire homemade rocket at southern Israel: report

Palestinian militants on Saturday fired a homemade rocket from the Gaza Strip at southern Israel, Israeli Radio Arabic service reported.
The radio quoted an Israeli army spokesman as saying that the homemade rocket landed at a cultivated farm in the Negev area in southern Israel, no damages or injuries were reported.
No one in Gaza has so far claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.
The Israeli army on Thursday announced that a homemade rocket was fired from Gaza at southern Israel. On Friday predawn, Israeli war jets retaliated by striking two separate targets east of the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis and Rafah town.
A radical Islamic group belonging to the Jihadi Salafists has claimed responsibility for Thursday rocket attack.
Rocket attacks from Gaza at Israel had retreated since the end of the 22-day Israeli military offensive Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip, where more than 1,400 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed.
