28 foreigners arrested in Zambia |

Zambian Immigration Department at Chirundu border control of Southern Province intercepted and arrested Tuesday three Pakistan nationals, three Indians and a South African for attempting to avoid the immigration control point.
Immigration Department Acting Public Relations Officer Kennedy Simenda said in a statement issued here that the Indian and Pakistan nationals were arrested for entering Zambia illegally on their way to South Africa.
He said that the South African national was arrested for aiding the illegal entry into Zambia of the Pakistan and Indians nationals.
The six were currently in detention in Lusaka pending prosecution.
Meanwhile, Simenda said that the Immigration Department at the Manyumi Road block in Kabwe in central Zambia arrested 21 illegal immigrants for various immigration offenses.
He said among them were 19 Congolese nationals, one Tanzanian and one Kenyan. Source:Xinhua
