Members of the Nigerian female national soccer team, the Super Falcons, on Thursday in Abuja were subjected to pregnancy test, a team official said.

The test, which was conducted at the Abuja National Hospital, saw all the players undergo the exercise.

The official said the exercise was to guard against past incidence where players featured in international competition with pregnancy.

All the players looked unruffled throughout the test which result was not disclosed.

Some of the players said they were ready to make the country proud at the Olympics and surpassed their past outings.

It would be recalled that Ann Agumanu Chiejine, former goalkeeper of the Falcons was between the goal posts for the country at the Sydney 2000 Olympics with a few month old pregnancy.
