Seven, including five workers, were injured here on Thursday in a boiler explosion of a cardboard factory belonging to an Indian businessman.
The victims, including 3 in charge of the boiler, 2 others inside and 2 children outside the factory, Europack, were immediately sent to a hospital nearby.
Four of them, who were not seriously injured, were released from the hospital after receiving first aid while others were shifted to a downtown hospital, media here reported on Friday.
The factory, situated near the airport some 20 kilometers north of the downtown area, was extensively damaged by the explosion, which was so powerful that debris of the boiler were found hundreds of meters away.
Local leaders rushed to the scene to inspect the situation and visited the victims soon after the explosion while the owner of the factory promised to pay all the lost and cost of the victims.
