Seven people were killed and seven wounded in a car bomb explosion in Algeria on Saturday, the Algeria Press Service (APS) reported Sunday.

The car blast occurred at 10:00 p.m. local time (2000 GMT) on Saturday night, a security source was quoted as saying.
