Chadian opposition leader Ngarleji Yorongar was to return home late Monday after months of exile in France, according to Cameroon's state radio.
Yorongar is one of the three opposition leaders who went missing after an early February rebel offensive. Hundreds of people were killed in the attack that nearly ended President Idriss Deby Itno's hold on power.
The report said deputies of the Geneva-based Inter parliamentary Union would accompany the secretary general of the Coordination of Political Parties for the Defense of the Constitution (CPDC) to the Chadian capital of N'Djamena.
The CPDC leader said he would immediately resume parliamentary activities and make a tour to reassure the militants of his party.
