A "grandiose funeral" is set to be held for Guinea's late President Lansana Conte on Friday in the Guinean capital of Conakry, the West African country's military junta has promised.
According to information from Conakry, the arrangement is among several measures taken by the military junta since Tuesday's coup.

The body of the late president was expected to lie in state in a stadium before moved to the city's Grand Mosque.
The military junta has offered guarantee for security during the funeral.
