Clashes is ongoing on Friday between Nigeria's Joint Task Force (JTF) and militants operating in the oil-rich Delta State, following a fresh attack by the military.

Xinhua gathered that the JTF raided the camp 5 of the suspected militants.

Militants and the JTF Wednesday clashed in the swamps of the southern Niger Delta region.
