At least five people were killed and many others injured in a building collapse in Lagos on Sunday, reports from the local media said.

The three-storey building was located at Lagos's Ebutte neighborhood and the collapse was probably triggered by the heavy rains the commercial city has experienced these days, the reports said.

Rescue workers were working on the spot and the casualties may rise, the reports said.
