Under the law, which was adopted by the federal parliament on March 1, the Indian Ocean island state will on Nov. 27, 2011 organize the first round of the presidential election and the second round of the elections of governors of Anjouan, Moheli and Grand-Comoros.

The primary election for the Union's president in Moheli island and the first round of the elections of governors for the islands should happen before that date.
