At least five U.N. staff members were killed in the attacks in Algiers, U.N. spokesperson Marie Okabe announced Tuesday.

She told reporters at the U.N. Headquarters in New York that five U.N. staff members were killed according to the latest information.

However, she did not specify where the information comes from.
