Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, condemned on Thursday the attack in Jerusalem, which killed at least eight students and injured many more.
A short statement by Solana's office said that he spoke Thursday night with Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to condemn the terrorist attack in Jerusalem.
Solana also expressed to Livni his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Israeli authorities, the statement said.
Earlier on Thursday night, a gunman infiltrated into Jewish seminary school in Jerusalem and opened fire at students there, killing at least eight and wounding many others. So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
