United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has expressed willingness to visit Nepal during the Constituent Assembly election to personally take stock of the ongoing peace process, according to Nepali Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan.

Talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Sunday, Pradhan said that during a meeting with her on the sidelines of a UN meeting in Geneva, Moon also expressed satisfaction over the atmosphere gradually built for the April-10 Constituent Assembly election in Nepal.

Pradhan returned from a week-long visit to Geneva where she attended the seventh session of the UN Human Rights Council.

The UN Secretary-General also promised that the UN would continue to extend its assistance to make the election successful.
