According to the FAO World Food price index issued by the United Nations, in April this year, grain prices dropped for the first time in 15 months. FAO expert Abdolreza Abbassian, in an exclusive interview with UN Radio on the 15th, said the global grain price in March this year was at its highest, and the current price is stable.

Abbassian said: "The FAO pointed out that since April this year, food prices have not risen. On the whole, the grain price remained stable in April. What's more optimistic is that in the first two weeks of May, in all markets of futures transaction - with the exception of rice - all food prices show a steady trend. "

FAO pointed out that as farmers plant more grain, as well as good weather conditions, the grain price will stop rising and is likely to begin to decline.
